I have never made a secret of my devotion to the Divine Mercy of God, and so it was both humbling and a great grace, when the Marian newsletter asked to interview me for an article.

I will be away on vacation from August 5-20 and will not have computer access, so there will be no posts on the blog during that time.
I know many people are reading this blog ...the stats show a lot of visits, but the comments are few. I just would like to address the fear I know some may feel about being "found out" if they are post abortive and post a comment. NO ONE will know your identity and your email address will not show.
While I am happy to continue posting, I pray it will soon be used as a way for you to communicate with one another and voice your feelings. It is a safe and confidential way to express your point of view.
In the meantime It is time to refresh and renew!

For those of you who may not know who Tiller is, he is a late term abortionist who has somehow managed to evade authorities until now. He not only does abortions, he also tries to make the killing of these babies "normal" by dressing them up after he has killed then, in some cases he "baptize" them and he will takes pictures of them with their parents....the people who go to him are often so confused and traumatized ....please God may he never open again....

Wichita KS (LifeNews.com) -- The controversial late-term abortion facility in Wichita is closed this weekend next while abortion practitioner George Tiller is arraigned on charges he did illegal abortions. Tiller has been charged by the state's attorney general with violating a law requiring the signature of a doctor vouching that the abortion is medically necessary.
Tiller is scheduled to be arraigned next Tuesday on 19 criminal counts of abortions in violation of the law and he could face 19 years in jail if convicted and sentenced to the maximum prison time.
As a result of the legal proceedings, Tiller is temporarily closing his Women's Health Care Services abortion business and referring women to abortion centers in Kansas City and Oklahoma.
Operation Rescue President Troy Newman, based in Wichita, applauded the closing in a statement sent to LifeNews.com.
"We are rejoicing that for two straight weeks, Wichita, Kansas, the nation's abortion capital, will be abortion free for the first time since abortions began here," he said. "We pray that abortions will never resume."
He explained it is unclear when and if abortions will resume.
Tiller's clinic was also closed for abortions the first week in July and last month more than 500 pro-life people stood outside in a prayer rally hoping it would close again.
As the first response to the new charges, attorneys for Tiller have filed a lawsuit claiming the Kansas law is unconstitutional. Tiller's attorneys argue that the provision of the law that requires two or more doctors to sign off on late-term abortions is invalid.
In their July 5 motion, they also sought to dismiss the 19 misdemeanor charges Attorney General Dan Morrison filed that would have Tiller in jail as long as 19 years if convicted. He could also be fined $2500 per violation and lose his medical license.
Morrison filed charges alleging that before performing 19 late-term abortions in 2003, Tiller received a second opinion from abortion practitioner Ann Kristin Neuhaus, who Morrison said had financial ties with Tiller.
A 1998 Kansas law says that before an abortion of a baby 21 weeks or older, two physicians must determine if continuation of a pregnancy will lead to death or "substantial and irreversible" harm to a "major bodily function."
The consulting doctor can have no financial or legal ties to the abortion practitioner.
Newman said the closing is the latest in a string of good news.
"Because of public pressure brought by Operation Rescue, over a dozen clinic
workers have quit their jobs with Tiller and dozens of companies will no long do business with him," said Newman.

This is a tragic story..I thought it was interesting that "State Delegate Susan McComas, a Republican who co-sponsored the 2005 unborn victims law, told AP, “We weren't contemplating a woman doing something
to her own fetus." where has she been, as we know it happens every day. That being said, I cannot imagine how she did this and what is going through her mind....very sad.

They must first determine whether Freeman, who has four living children, is the mother of the four deceased unborn babies.
She hss already been charged in the death of a 26-week-old unborn child who was discovered under her kitchen sink last week.The case began when Freeman's longtime boyfriend Raymond W. Godman, Jr., contacted sought medical help for Freeman, who apparently had a miscarriage. Freeman denied she was pregnant at the time medical help arrived and in the emergency room.
However, authorities found bruises on her thighs, abdomen and forearm prior to her admittance to the hospital Thursday with heavy bleeding.The call for help resulted in a search of her home where the body of one baby was found and that led to a further search that resulted in the discovery of the other bodies.
But whether Freeman committed a crime is a considerable question because Maryland has no law prosecuting women for killing their own unborn children.The state does have an unborn victims law that punishes criminals who attack pregnant women and kill or injure their babies, but the law doesn't apply to the mother herself.
State Delegate Susan McComas, a Republican who co-sponsored the 2005 unborn victims law, told AP, “We weren't contemplating a woman doing something to her own fetus."Ocean City Police Chief Bernadette DiPino told the Associated Press that “We need to gather as much evidence as we can" and said State's Attorney Joel Todd is going to have a difficult time putting a case together against Freeman.
DiPino also said a specialist is going to work to determine how Freeman got the bruises on her body and whether they were accidental, self-inflicted or caused by someone else.

Funny, I do not hear the support of the pro abortion side who says women should have a free choice do you? I also never heard outrage from them about the Jeffrey Cheshier case....what a surprise

Rock, AR (LifeNews.com) -- A new abortion law in the state of Arkansas takes effect on Tuesday and it's one that could spark other state legislatures to head in the same direction. The statute seeks to help women by requiring abortion centers to post signs saying coerced abortions are illegal.
Rep. Sid Rosenbaum, a Republican from Little Rock, sponsored the bill.
Under the measure, abortion businesses would be fined $1,000 for each day they do not post a sign indicating that women cannot be forced to have an abortion they don't want.
The state House approved the forced abortion bill, HB 2768/ACT 1605, on a 69-20 vote on March 22. The state Senate later approved the bill
on a 35-0 vote on April 2.
Rosenbaum says that no one -- including a husband, boyfriend or parent - should pressure a pregnant woman into having an abortion.
The bill adds the statement about forced abortions to the state's informed consent law that gives women information about abortion's risks and alternatives.
The bill "just adds one more factor to the list," Rosenbaum said. "No person can force a woman to have an abortion."Former
Governor Mike Huckabee signed the Right to Know bill into law in 2001 and, in 2005, state legislators added an amendment to it telling women about the pain a baby would feel in an abortion done after 20 weeks of pregnancy.
The legislation comes after police in Bryant, Arkansas began an investigation of 41 year-old Jeffrey Cheshier, who they accuse of impregnating a 15 year-old after he sexually abused her. Later, he allegedly drove the victim to an Illinois abortion business where he forced her to have an abortion.
Authorities say Cheshier began sexually assaulting the teenager in 2005 He was eventually arrested in October.
That's when the teen told police she had gotten pregnant and said Cheshier drove her to the Hope Clinic for Women abortion facility in Granite City, Illinois, near St. Louis. There, he made her have an abortion.
The Hope abortion center has come under fire from pro-life advocates for years for luring Missouri teenagers across the border for secret abortions.

Forgiveness is available to those suffering from the silent sin of abortion.
One in three women will have an abortion by the age of 45, and half of those will have a second abortion. Despite the church's view on this controversial topic, more than 70 percent of these women consider themselves religious or Christian.
In her ministry work, author Mary Comm has learned there are few places for people to turn in the Christian community following the trauma of having or participating in an abortion, leaving them vulnerable and susceptible to depression, shame, addiction and other negative coping mechanisms now recognized as post-abortion syndrome (PAS). In her book Secret Sin: When God's People Choose Abortion (Morgan James Publishing, March 2007), Comm gives other Christians the knowledge, understanding and compassion necessary to help those who have suffered from the shame of past abortions.
Comm describes how many women feel trapped and pressured into their abortion and need to view the church as a safe haven to discuss their dilemma, but that many Christian women and men will not seek help from Christian friends and their church family after abortions because of the guilt of their sin. Comm encourages pastors and other church leaders to create a safe atmosphere of forgiveness in order to transform the lives of these women. Comm raises awareness of those suffering silently due to past abortions and empowers not only church leaders but the entire congregation to minister Christ's love, forgiveness and reconciliation to the broken hearts and hurting souls in their community and how to create a safe haven for abortion recovery in their church.
Secret Sin was written by a Christian who believes that the millions of walking wounded who suffer the grief from a secret abortion need to forgive themselves and realize that they are not alone and that God still loves them. Comm gives advice to these women and men on how to find peace, but also to those who have the power to reach out and show them God's true love.
"Jesus heals broken hearts and souls of women in need of forgiveness. If we Christians cannot show them the grace and mercy of Jesus then who will?" asks Comm.

Good for MS Cooper and the courage it must have taken for her to do this...I am sure she is forever changed and mourning her baby, but for once it seems a voice was heard

Teresa Cooper, 40, was worried that an E coli infection and antibiotic treatment she had a few weeks into her pregnancy after developing bleeding and nausea might have harmed the baby.
Unable to get answers, she reluctantly signed the consent form for an abortion at Princess Alexandra hospital in Harlow, Essex, in November 2003. But in the two days between signing the form and the day the termination was scheduled, she watched an anti-abortion video which reinforced her doubts.
She went to the hospital on the day, saying that she was only having the abortion for medical reasons and questioning whether the procedure would be traumatic for the foetus. She still got no answers but was taken to theatre upset and tearful, according to her medical notes.
In papers filed with the court, the Princess Alexandra hospital trust admitted that staff failed to counsel Ms Cooper about her pregnancy, failed to refer her to someone who could counsel her appropriately, and went ahead with the abortion without getting confirmation that she consented. The trust, which agreed to the settlement last week, conceded that she had not been seen by the surgeon before the operation despite her obvious concern.
Ms Cooper, from Ongar, Essex, said the experience had reopened the wounds of her childhood, related in her memoir Pin Down, published last month by Orion Books. Born to an alcoholic father and a mentally ill mother, she was put into care at six months.
At 13 she was sent to Kendall House in Kent, where she was subjected to the "pin down" solitary confinement regime, given large doses of tranquillisers and sexually abused. She now sees herself as a survivor, with three "wonderful children" of 20, 18 and 14. "When you've gone through the care system and the only thing you've ever been good at is having your children and someone takes that away from you, that is really bad for someone like me. It opened all the wounds of my childhood," she said.
Her solicitor, David Kerry, from Essex law firm Attwater & Liell, said: "Teresa wanted answers to her concerns about her own health and that of her baby. It was as if she was on a conveyor belt which was impossible to stop. Despite her obvious distress she was not respected as an individual with the tragic result that she lost her baby totally unnecessarily."
A trust spokesman said: "Extra training has been provided and the patient pathway for the treatment improved to ensure the same thing could not happen again. We would like to apologise to Ms Cooper for shortcomings in the care."
