Jill Stanek has some great photos on her blog from NARALS flickr page "Putting a Face to Our Cause...” which is filled with Pro Life pix. I just uploaded another picture to it from our Silent No More at Columbia University last year....wonder how long it will be before they take down the site...I imagine sooner rather than later
I was just musing on their campaign "Putting a Face to Our Cause". To be honest, I am not sure what face they are trying to portray. Probably the face of women “saved” by abortion, but surely they would not include those of us who had abortions and are speaking out against them. I know it cannot be the face of the aborted babies....thank goodness I think people are finally recognizing their compassion is false since we all know someone who is hurting because of abortion.
At Good Counsel we have a new slogan this year. "The Future that has a Face".
When I saw NARAL's slogan I could not help thinking about ours and how similar they are although totally different. Their "face" is the face of death. The death of babies, the death of consciousness of those involved in abortion, death of the emotional and spiritual well being of countless women and men...
Our "face" is the face of life...
