Abortion truth that sets us free
One of the biggest lies is that women "need" abortion to improve their lives, to be economically sound, to protect from the harm of an "unwanted pregnancy."
The truth is that abortion harms everyone involved. Abortion truth and lies are documented here by Pro-Life Action League at a conference where former abortion workers spoke out about what goes on behind closed doors. This sobering and wrenching video series proves that abortion can never be a pro-woman procedure or policy, abortion always destroys the life of a child, and abortion harms women in every possible way.
There can be no doubt that a life is lost with every abortion, therefore participating in abortion is deeply wrong as the ultimate transgression against an innocent child. Our grief may threaten to overwhelm us as this truth begins to dawn in our hearts. My grief lasted for over twenty years. All those years, I listened to abortion proponents continue to deny the damage abortion does to women and children. And each time I would conclude that, if I did nothing wrong in choosing abortion, something must be wrong with me since I continued to experience such ongoing sadness and shame.
But there is redemption, there is healing. There is hope. While we cannot change the fact that abortion has ended our child's life, that need not be the end of our story.
