Post-Abortion Healing Ministry Marks 16 years in the Diocese of Arlington
In conjunction with the 16th anniversary of the Post-Abortion Healing Ministry, Project Rachel in the Diocese of Arlington, Bishop Paul Loverde has released a new You-Tube video that invites those suffering after abortion to: "Come back home. We are waiting for you, and more importantly, God is waiting for you." Bishop Loverde’s gentle yet powerful message offers hope to anyone who mistakenly worries that her or his sins are too large for God's mercy.
The Diocesan Post-Abortion Healing Ministry is sponsoring a year-long prayer effort that kicks off with a 30-day prayer campaign on July 16 (the feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel) and ends on Aug. 15 (the feast of the Assumption of Our Lady and the 16th anniversary of Project Rachel in the Diocese of Arlington). The main petition, if we paraphrase Isaiah 61, is to break the bonds of abortion so that all suffering souls may be set free.
