There is no question abortion touches everyone. One of the things that our prayer service "An Afternoon of Prayerful Remembrance" does is show the many people and many ways abortion impacts each one of us.
Yesterday, Life News posted an article entitled, My Grandaugther Would be Six Now, But I Took Her Mother to Have an Abortion. I know many women whose daughters have had abortions, either because they chose to or because they themselves pressured their daughter to abort. Of course, some also never know about it until it is too late. Many women I have seen did not tell their moms about a pregnancy because they did not want to disappoint them and so aborted.
Personally, I was pressured into my abortion. Afterwards, no one ever mentioned it and as traumatic as my abortion was for me, I thought it did not faze my mom in the least. I was wrong.
It was years later when I was married with 2 kids before I found out how it haunted her every day of her life.
