"Don't ever forget to love!"-Maximillian Kolbe
Such a simple saying and yet so profound and full.
With all that is going on in the world it is a challenge not to forget to love. I find myself getting angry at the seemingly loss of freedoms we are beginning to experience between the woke culture, the government and even within the church.
This simple saying is a difficult thing to do. To continue to love in the midst of oppression, ridicule, babies being aborted, used for experimental purposes. The growing rage towards those unvaccinated, the blame, The sin within the church of Christ. I can go on and on.
Everyday I pray to Maximillian Kolbe and Blessed Jerzy. I pray for the grace to stand for the truth and not to forget "to love." I pray that what I see does not cause me to take my eyes off of Christ and that I stand firm in the faith I love and HIs Eucharistic Presence.
These are hard times. There is a lot we can learn of Maximillian Kolbe as we venture into these new waters by choice or by force. I pray to always remember this is not my home but only a place along the journey, and I remind myself that Our Lady of Czestochowa, our warrior, patroness of Entering Canaan and who Maximillian was totally devoted to, is always beside us in the battle leading us to her Son.
St Maximillian Kolbe pray for us and tach us never to forget to love!
