Anyone who knows the "Entering Canaan" ministry knows that Divine Mercy plays a huge part in all we do.
As I have shared before, the devotion was very instrumental to my personal healing and since my first witness I close each talk with a reading from St Faustina's diary, but did you know how we got the beautiful image we use at our retreats?
Just when we were beginning our ministry, a woman visited the convent of the Sisters of Life where we held our retreats. She had a huge pilgrim image of the Divine Mercy that she moved across the country and she of course, had it with her. Not knowing anything about the work we had just begun (it is over 25 years now), she announced to us before she left," I have gotten in prayer that I am to leave this image with you!"
When we told her what we were doing she could not believe it!
God who is good will not be outdone!
We thank you God for your Mercy towards us. For your forgiveness and desire for us to be united with You. Your graces are everywhere if we just open ourselves to You and Your Love. Help us through the intercession of Mary, Our Mother, under the title of Our Lady of Czestochowa, our patroness, to trust more and more each day, surrendering ourselves to Your goodness who are Love & Mercy Itself!!
